INSTALLATION NOTES:
1) Attach duct adapter to housing, Align locking tabs on adapter with holes on housing, Snap into place.
2) Attach housing to joist with screws or nails. Housing is stamped to show 3/4" Standard Sheetrock / Plaster and 3/8" Drywall, Adjust Accordingly.
3) Wire with 120VAC - 60Hz power leads, use the appropriate knock-out location on the housing and with an appropriate wire connector (BX or Romex)
4) Remove outlet box cover by removing screw and pulling downward.
5) TURN OFF ELECTRICAL POWER AT SERVICE ENTRANCE!
6) Connect wire from wall switch to motor wires, and connect all remaining wires for light. Use approved wire connectors - white to white, black to black, and green to ground.
7) Replace outlet box cover and screw.
8) Install 4" duct to duct adapter and run to a roof jack or wall cap to ensure ventilation is ducted to the outside.
9) Install cover to housing with spring clips and or screw provided.
CAUTION: Be sure all wiring complies with local and national electric codes, and housing is properly grounded.

7) Never install or place a switch where it can be reached from a tub or shower.
8) NOT for use in kitchens
9) NOT for use with heating equipment, fuel burning equipment or chimneys.
10) This unit MUST be grounded.
11) Keep drywall spray and construction dirt off motor assembly to avoid bearing damage and/or unbalanced impellars. |
