MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS Material: Heavy Duty UL Approved State of the Art PVC Tread Surface is designed with High Grip/Non-Slip Ridges to help reduce the risk of slipping. Black in Color which helps to conceal scuff marks, dirt, etc. (Shown to the Right) LED Bulb:  Image on the Left is a Close-Up of one ofthe LED Bulbs on the Tread. These are available in many different colors. You will be asked to select your choice of color when buying. Pre-Wiring: Every section is pre-wired and is terminated with a female coupling on each end as you can see in Image "A" below. If you will be feeding power through multiple sections, you will find it easier to use our Optional Jumper Cables (see Images "B") instead of making your own connections. For the section at which you will be terminating, in order to wire to your transformer, you may purchase an additional jumper cable and cut off one end of it to access the hard wire. This can then be connected to any gauge cable to connect to your transformer. If you need an End Cap (for the end of your run that will not be connected to your transformer), they are available. You will be asked if you need one when buying. OPTIONAL JUMPER CABLE You can choose to purchase optional jumper cables to connect one strip of LED Tread to another or to use as a terminator cable. To connect one strip of LED Tread to another, simply plug in both male ends of the jumper cable to the female ends of each LED Tread section as shown in Image "C", and hide the jumper cable wire so it is not visible. The optional jumper cable is available in your choice of 3, 6 or 10 foot lengths. Jumper Cables: 3 Foot Jumper 6 Foot Jumper 10 Foot Jumper You will be prompted to order Jumper Cables when buying.
