Air Tight	This trim tapers all the way up to socket area and has a gasket at the socket entry way together making this trim air-tight. Air-tight trims are great for the following reasons: a) Complies with the Energy Department's Title 24 Requirements and Energy Conservation Requirements because it eliminates loss of air flow saving you money in your electrical, heating and air conditioning; b) aesthetics, basically this trim looks much better after the bulb is installed because there is no gap around the bulb which is common with non-air-tight trims; c) Saves you money in labor when installing more that one trim in the same project. Why? Because all bulbs will always be at the exact same height and position. This is impossible with other trims that do not have the snap to socket design. With these others trims, you will have to manually adjust every single bulb to ensure a uniform look. This alone accounts for about an extra 5 to 10 minutes per trim that you will be saving. This particular trim's design allows you NOT to be able to remove it should you need to.

MOUNTING SPECIFICATIONS
Hardware	Simply snap the socket into the top of trim then push trim in to the housing. All done. Notice the top of this socket entry way has a gasket making this a better airtight trim, and also notice the mounting clips on top of the trim. These clips make this a one time install non-removable trim. Read the important note below for details. IMPORTANT: If you ever have to remove this trim, there is a good chance the clips will break and we can't get you replacements clips. THE GOOD NEWS: You do NOT have take out this trim to replace the bulb. The bulb easily comes out from the bottom without having to take out this trim! Therefore there really is no reason not to take advantage of this once in a life time price. So while supplies last, for only $12.99 shipped free, you can have an airtight trim! We will not take this trim back if the clip(s) are broken or trim has been used, so please remember that once you insert this trim, it's meant to stay in.
