Housing adjusts 3/4" to accomodate various ceiling thickness
UL & ETL listed Air Tight, "IC" Rated for direct contact with insulation, UL & ETL listed damp location and UL & ETL listed feed through.

Housing: Die-formed all aluminum construction for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection. Adjusts vertically in plaster frame to accommodate 1/2" to 1-3/8" ceiling.
Socket: Medium base screw shell porcelain socket preinstalled on adjustable mounting bracket is designed to allow usage of different lamp types, as well as proper and consistent lamp positioning.
Bar Hangers: Preinstalled bar hangers allow housing to be positioned and locked at any point within a 24" joist span. They can be used on either long or short axis of housing and can be shortened for 12" joists. They are designed to be hammered directly without using nails or screws and could be fit onto T-Bar spline for easy installation and quick alignment.
Junction Box: Is UL and ETL listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with four 1/2" KOs, one 3/4" KO and four Romex knockouts with true pry-out slots and strain clamps.
Thermal Protection: Standard thermal protection device guards against improper installation, overlamping and misuse of insulation material.

Good for ceilings with insulation.
This housing is for NEW construction jobs where there is NO existing drywall or you may be able to use for existing drywall ONLY if you have enough access or crawlspace to be able to install this housing.

For any recessed housings that are received damaged, customers must ship them back at their own expense before we can supply a replacement. Customers must also pay for return shipment of the replacements. This is because of the very low profit margin on these items. Damages on recessed housings rarely occur, but when it does, most of the time it can be hammered out. Though, if they are beyond repair, the above applies.
