This housing is for REMODEL jobs,
where there is EXISTING drywall. The shallow height allows for applications where there is limited height space. This houisng is limited to certain trims, please look carefully to see if there is a note by the trim, that will advise if that trim can not be used with this housing.
Good for ceilings with insulation.

-Integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation material and improper lamping.

-Wiring box for use with 75° C supply wire
-Unit slips through 6 1/2" ceiling opening. Integral flange secures fixture against ceiling. Four remodel clips secure housing and accomodate various ceiling thickness.

For any recessed housings that are received damaged, customers must ship them back at their own expense before we can supply a replacement. Customers must also pay for return shipment of the replacements. This is because of the very low profit margin on these items. Damages on recessed housings rarely occur, but when it does, most of the time it can be hammered out. Though, if they are beyond repair, the above applies.
