| This IC rated recessed housing is a thermally protected fixture that may be installed in direct contact with ceiling insulation. This recessed can has an integral thermal protector which guards against improper lamping. The junction box on this is new work recessed light is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has (six) 1/2" knockouts with true pry-out slots. On this recessed down lighting housing, the captive bar hangers span 24" joists and can be repositioned 90°. This recessed can has a 7 1/2" height which allows for use in 2 x 8 construction. This recessed housing adjusts 3/4" to accomodate various ceiling thickness and is U.L. listed for direct contact with insulation and Air Tight Rated. |
