Why should I pay more for a deluxe pagoda light and not buy your standard pagoda which already seems to have more features and better quality than everyone else's?
Answer: Please read the below features for your answer:
Feature 1: LightEcho™ Reflector: Only available with the Deluxe Pagodas - Our built in LightEcho™ polished specular mirror reflector which is installed behind the socket increases light output & dissipates heat from wiring compartment.
Feature 2: WireGuard™ Bushing: Only available with the Deluxe Pagodas - Includes our WireGuard™ bushing to help protect the wires from shearing, has added benefits as well.
Feature 3: Heavy Duty Jar Glass: Available with both our Standard and Deluxe Pagodas - Clear Heavy High Impact Glass Jar protects bulb & socket area while providing a 360° light output. The ones found at most home centers and other "companies" come with a plastic white diffuser. You may want to ask them if this plastic is UV protected against heat and sun, and how will it hold up from birds, rodents and that weed wacker?
Feature 4: The most Even Light Distribution / Output on the market
This deluxe pagoda can be used for both 12v or 120v. How? Because of the medium base socket and ground cable, this light can be used for 120v applications as well as 12v applications. See Feature #5 for details.
For 12v use: Only available with the Deluxe Pagodas - We guarantee the best and most even light distribution in a 12v pagoda. How is this possible? Because this universal voltage pagoda comes with a medium base socket which will accomodate this revolutionary 12v medium base "A" bulb for 12v applications giving you the best and most even light distribution possible in 12 volts which was only previously achievable in 120v. In other words, in the past, if you bought a 12v pagoda light, you would be forced to put in either a wedge bulb (like the ones sold at the home centers which were normally no more than 12 Watts and gave you a very "spotty" light because the bulb was smaller than an inch in height) or if you bought the better quality pagodas, which we carry and call our standard pagodas, you would use the JC bulb (which was bigger than the wedge bulb and gave you more even light output than the wedge), but now with the 12v "A" lamp, you can get a much more even area light effect that you would only get in the past with a 120v pagoda.
For 120v use: Available with both our Standard and Deluxe Pagodas - Our 120v units will handle up to 75 Watts and comes with a standard medium base socket. This is important because our unit allows you to use standard bulbs or fluorescent retro fit bulbs. The ones found at most home centers and other "companies" are called 120v yet use the same bi-pin socket as the 12v for this exact type of light fixture. This will force you to be able to ONLY use a 120v bi-pin bulb, which has a low life expectancy, and not available in different colors or different lens, i,e clear or white. Finally when you use such a small bulb like the 120v bi pin in such a large fixture as this, it gives an awful looking light/light output. It's like giving a whale a tic tac.
Feature 5: Dual Voltage
Only available with the Deluxe Pagodas - This deluxe pagoda comes with a UL Listed 120v medium base socket. This socket of course allows for the use of 120v medium base "A" Bulbs, but with the revolutionary 12v "A" Bulb, you can now use this pagoda for either voltage. See Feature #4 above for details. |
