 TRULY AN ENIGMA... Notice from the above images how the Smart Swivel Arm™ design allows for many positions and angles that you can NOT get from traditional swivel arms. This Smart Swivel Arm is mounted on the side of the fixture rather than the back and is pre-sealed with our InjectaSeal. This side mount design is part of the reason for its unique and versatile position alotments. This design also makes for a truly sealed fixture unlike traditional rear-mounted swivels. IMPORTANT NOTE: Find your angle and do NOT continue to turn this arm more than 180 degrees otherwise you may destroy the socket's wires. It is also common with our unit as well as the overpriced name brand unit to have a swirl mark left by the arm where it attaches to the fixture's sub-arm after you've rotated it (this swirl mark is sometimes barely noticeable and its appearance will vary from fixture to fixture). This is unavoidable and based on the fact that the base material is brass, it won't affect the integrity of the brass base material and eventually will darken as is the nature of brass.  Our exclusive WaterSlide™ is important because with the flat lens water will collect and cause calcium build up. Now add the 480° heat from the bulb and now you are basically "baking" in the water causing the calcium to become impossible to remove! This will significantly reduce your light output and increase the heat build up inside your fixture which will decrease your bulb and socket life. When you buy this light you will have less worries because the curved shape of our WaterSlide™ glass will help reduce this water/calcium build up by causing the water to "slide" off. Remember: What good is a spot/flood light if your reducing almost half of your light output? For complete glass protection we suggest using our Rain-X and Invisa-Shield.  POTTED SOCKET We have removed the LightEcho™ Reflector to show you how the High Heat 200° with Stainless Steel Aircraft Grade Contacts socket is wrapped in a brass casing which further protects it from heat and water damage in unison with the light echo reflector. |
 SEAL This fixture comes pre-InjectaSealed to protect the wires from moisture and other harmful elements to your fixture. For details of InjectaSeal, click here.  DRAINAGE HOLES Each fixture includes 3 Excess Water Drainage Holes (noted by the blue arrows above) that work in combination with our bubble glass. When water slides off the WaterSlide™ bubble glass, it will exit through these Exclusive Drainage Holes.  GASKET Includes Black "O" Ring Gasket (noted by yellow arrow).  LightEcho™ not only increases your light output from the reflection, it also dissipates the heat from the crucial socket/wire connection compartment. The highest failure from spot/flood lights is from the 480° plus heat from the bulb which plays havoc on the connection point where the wires meet the socket. You will NOT have this problem when you buy this fixture from us!  FADING We faded the paint in this area for the following reasons:  1) Studies show that as water gathers in this area (on any fixutre) it tends to stay longer if there is a finish here, so in order to complement our Bubble Glass and Drainage Holes, we put less finish in this area. With less finish and in unison with our WaterSlide™ Bubble Glass, the water will "slide" out faster thru the drainage holes. Most importantly, you do NOT have to worry about any damage to your material in this area as the base material is solid brass and water or sun will never cause brass to rust or corrode for life. Plus Brass will naturally age in finish and darken on its own. Like we said this is truly an Enigma...simply a perfect fixture |
