There is a possibility that a swirl mark will be left by the arm (see below images) where it attaches to the fixture's sub-arm after you've rotated it (this swirl mark may happen or may not. It will depend on how much you swivel the arm or may already be visible right out of the box. If it does occur, it will be barely noticeable, if at all, and its appearance will vary from fixture to fixture). This is unavoidable and based on the fact that the base material is brass, it will NOT affect the integrity of the brass base material and it will NOT affect the Lifetime Guarantee on the brass. Another thing to NOT worry about is that eventually, brass will darken as is it's nature, therefore the swirl mark (again, if it does show) will turn from brass to a dark color in time and you won't even notice it!

Another thing to remember with this Special Swivel Arm: Please find your angle and do NOT continue to turn this arm more than 180 degrees otherwise you may destroy the socket's wires.

VERDI
Notice on the black, this swirl mark is barely noticeable. However on the white and rust, it is more noticeable. This will vary from fixture to fixture and from finish to finish. And again, as noted above, this swirl mark may or may NOT even be noticeable or even occur on any of the colors. If it does occur, it will be barely noticeable, if at all, and its appearance will vary from fixture to fixture). And the fact that the base material is brass, it will NOT affect the integrity of the brass base material and it will NOT affect the Lifetime Guarantee on the brass. Another thing to NOT worry about is that eventually, brass will darken as is it's nature, therefore the swirl mark (again, if it does show) will turn from brass to a dark color in time and you won't even notice it!
