High Quality Clock allows for multiple Off/On Settings and simply plugs in to this transformer. No Wiring Needed. There are two different methods of using this Clock with this transformer. Please see below options: 1) The most common use of this clock is having it operate in conjunction with the below optional photocell. This method would be to have this photocell turn on your lights daily when it registers no light, and then have this clock take over the daily operation of shutting the lights off at your preset time(s). This is so popular because it is very convenient and efficient for many reasons. One of the reasons is that you won't have to worry about daylight savings time if you use the clock options only. Another good reason would be, should you incur power loss which will throw off your clock's time, you won't have to worry about it since your photocell does not operate by time. 2) When using this clock with this transformer WITHOUT the below optional photocell, you can make it so this clock is the only item that turns on and off your lighting, meaning, since you are not using the photocell option, your lights will turn on and off at the time(s) you preset. Another bonus with our clock is that it allows multiple On/Off times, (Example: you can set it on a daily basis to turn on at 7pm and off at 11pm, and then on AGAIN at 1am and off AGAIN at 4am).
