Please answer the following questions to help you determine the type
of transformer and cable/wire you will need for your 12 Volt low
voltage lighting system.
How to figure out your total wattage:
It's Simple! All you have to do is calculate your total wattage (wattage of lamps)
used on all the fixtures being used on each circuit.
For example, if you're installing 5 fixtures on one circuit and each fixture has a 20
watt lamp, then your total will be 100 watts. (20w + 20w + 20w + 20w + 20w =100 Watts).
Another example if you're installing one fixture with one 50 watt lamp in it and 4
fixtures with a 20 Watt lamp in each of the 4 fixtures then your total watts will be
130 watts (50w + 20w + 20w + 20w +20w = 130 Watts)
