INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Insert stake into suitable earth ground for keeping stability.
2) Make sure the overall device is in a vertical position.
3) Open one of the four outlet covers and insert the plug of whichever device you wish to plug in to that receptacle.
4) Plug the cord of the Multi-Plug Hub into a receptacle of any convenient and GFCI protected branch circuit.
5) Make sure to unplug the Multi-Plug Hub from the receptacle entirely before unplugging any of the plugs from the Hub.
IMPORTANT NOTICE (Must Read Before Using)
1) Be sure this device can support the load you plug into it by checking the wattage of the devices you plug into it.
2) NEVER disassemble hub box to change wiring connections.
3) Be sure to unplug this hub before moving it to a different location.
4) If using Christmas Tree or decorative lighting products that are not marked with an ampere rating, connect no more than 140 screw-base lamps (C7 or C9) or 12 strings with midget (pushing) lamps to this device.
5) This Multi-Plug Hub must be plugged into a GFCI Protected receptacle.
6) UL Listed for temporary installation and use. However, we've received feedback that this item has been used in permanent applications with no problems encountered. It is designed and built to be used all year round but again, it is only UL Listed for seasonal use. If using this for an extended period of time (greater than 90 Days), please consider hard wiring a permanent outdoor-use receptacle rated for year-round use in the area that power is needed. Please contact a licensed electrician for proper installation of permanent wiring. After completion of installation, the connector must be maintained a minimum of 6 inches above ground and must be plugged into a GFCI Protected receptacle. |
This plug is designed for outdoor use and has already been investigated in accordance with applicable requirements stipulated in UL2438, UL498, UL817. This has been subjected to rain and sprinkler examination and is capable of withstanding UV light.
