You choose the fixture you want to test!
Not only will you be able to see if the fixture type is what you need, you will also be able to see a sample of the "actual" finish in your hands. As an example, should you choose a Rust Fixtures as a sample, and you may not like the actual color in person, this gives you the opportunity to try another color. This will also allow of course, regardless of the finish, to see if the actual fixture itself will work for your application, (ie. you may need a well light instead of a spot, or you may not need the glare shield style, etc.) |

You choose the bulbs you want to sample with the fixture you chose!
Giving you the ability to decide on which type of bulb will best work for you, (ie. spot, flood, wide flood, wattage, frosted, brightness, etc.) |
|
You choose the amount of marker flags!
The marker flags are going to be your best friend because they will eliminate the miscommunications or errors which commonly occur when laying out a lighting plan. These flags will save you time and money! Each flag has a blank writing space allowing you to simply label each flag with the fixture and bulb you choose for that location. When done labeling, easily stick the self-staking flag in that specific location! Once you're ready to install all your fixtures, just replace each flag with the matching fixture & bulb that you noted on that flag. We suggest getting extra flags incase you decide later that you want to try more locations. |
Now you're ready to use your kit!
A) Once you receive your fully assembled kit, simply place the fixture at the first item/area you want to illuminate.
B) Now plug in the kit to the nearest receptacle. We suggest that the receptacle you will be temporarily plugging this kit into be a grounded GFI type. The kit comes with a total length of 31 feet. If you need more to reach the nearest receptacle, you will need to provide an extension cord. Remember: This kit is for Temporary Use Only as this kit is made up of wire nuts, electrical tape and a non water-type transformer to simply sample / preview the fixture and bulb's performance.
C) Once you have decided which bulb performs to your needs at this location, simply mark that information on one of the flags, and insert it into that location for future reference.
That's it! Now you can go to your next location and repeat the steps. Keep in mind - The amount of steps you can achieve with flag markers will depend on the amount of flags you buy. |
