I want to light up my trees, columns, walls, hedges etc., so why should I use in ground well lights instead of above ground spot/flood lights?
Above ground spot/flood lights are great for the following applications:
1) space restraint (you can not get a fixture close enough to the object you want to illuminate)
2) low traffic area
3) area where your gardner will less likely "hit" it.
4) if you do not mind seeing the light source
